2025 Yamaha Waverunner GP HO
Conquer the waves with an adrenaline-pumping performance in a sleek white and black colourway with edgy neon accents. The latest GP HO is a pure sport machine from its ultra-lightweight body to the industry-first Auto-Trim that lets you split the waves in cornering like never before. Each aspect is designed to deliver exhilarating action.
Built for thrill-seekers.
Fire up those powerful revs and accelerate away, with our latest High Output 1.9 litre 4-stroke engine, which is the largest in the industry. The innovative ride-enhancing features, like the race-inspired top-loader intake grate and ride plate further enhance acceleration, cornering and rough water hook-up.
Enjoy complete confidence in handling and control with the optimised seat design and sitting position, handlebar shape, deeper footwells and lower centre of gravity within the ultra-lightweight body. The Auto-Trim system, with automated launch and cornering control, takes the GP HO to the next level.
High Output, DOHC, 16V, 1,898cc engine
The 4-cylinder, 4-stroke, 1.9 litre High Output Yamaha Motor outboard engine is the largest displacement in the industry, yet thanks to our continuous programme of innovation and product improvement, it is extremely compact. The result is astonishing power, acceleration and huge torque, along with clean efficiency and economy.
The latest GP HO has ample amounts of storage space so that you can take everything you might need along with you. In addition to the huge under-seat and bow storage compartments, there’s a very large and convenient glove box.
Improving both acceleration and handling, the pump, impeller and intake grate have been introduced as a result of the excellence achieved in racing. The extra grip it gives on the water gives even more responsive and accurate handling in all conditions.
Made possible by Yamaha’s unique materials technology, NanoXcel2® is an impressive 18% lighter than our revolutionary NanoXcel® – yet just as rigid and strong. It maximises the exciting performance of the latest GP HO, helping it deliver its sensational acceleration, even sharper cornering and more stability at high speed.
The adaptable steering system has exposed handlebars that are tilt-adjustable. A narrower race-inspired design has been used for the bar itself, along with the very latest control boxes and grips, to provide even more confident control for the rider.
The revolutionary RiDE® system transforms your riding pleasure, bringing a feeling of confidence to every rider at every level. Simply pull the throttle lever on the right hand-grip to move forward and accelerate and pull the lever on the left grip to slow down or to reverse.
The GP HO will really appeal to water sports fans as well as speed enthusiasts, with its comfortable three-person seat, large integral mirrors, an extended rear platform with a large, soft-touch re-boarding step and its strong, practical tow hook. Comfortable, slip-resistant Hydro-Turf mats are a pleasure to step onto after swimming.
This exclusive, industry-first system offers a fully automatic trim function, which operates independently of the efficient electronic trim control on the handlebar. When engaged, Cornering Control automatically shifts the trim down when decelerating for sharp cornering and Launch Control shifts the trim down to prevent bow rise when accelerating quickly.
The balance and stability of the GP HO have been enhanced by lowering and centralising the centre of gravity along with the adoption of a narrower design for both the seat and the fully adjustable, race-design handlebar. Combined with the ergonomic sitting position and deeper footwells, the result is an amazing level of rider control.
Among its many talents, this clear and easy-to-read display helps you control and monitor all the systems onboard, using the fast-access buttons next to the unit. Top speed and acceleration limits can also be entered from here along with the PIN code-activated learning (L-Mode) and security settings. We’ve put the latest technology to work for you.
